Hello, everybody! It is me, Daisy Marie! I am very cited to tell you that we have journeyed to the very first sock monkey festival in the actual birthing place of the red heeled sock monkey, which is Rockford, Illinois! The peeples at the Midway Village Museeum put on the partee, and they were all very nice! And there were so many pretty monkeys! Some of them were older than old, and some of them were born right there during the festival! It was mazing, I can tell you with certaintees! We got see our friends from The Red Heel Sock Monkey Shelter in Asheville, NC-- some we met for the very first timing! And we made brand new friends, both monkey and human types! We sure had a wonderful adventure, and Missus Mel'nee has already promised that we can go back if they do it again next year!
Boy oh boy, that sure would be wonderful! And so now here are the picturings we took of the festival, and also our trip back home through historical river places!
